Application FormMASA Scholarship Application: Dear Student, The Jewish Agency had decided that a year of study in Israel is the most effective way to help students connect to their Jewish heritage and they are offering significant scholarship (The MASA scholarship) money for those studying in Israel. We ask your help in filling out these forms and helping Yeshivat Hamivtar receive these funds. As you know, our student body is post collegiate and tends to receive significant tuition reductions from the yeshiva. Therefore, it is especially helpful for us to receive a different source of funding. You can fill out the form and fax the forms to us at 011 972 2 9934241. Students over the age of thirty and those with Israeli citizenship are not eligible for this scholarship. The Jewish Agency strongly prefers that applicants send their parents tax records (I should point out that they have a very expansive notion of who merits financial aid). If this is impossible for you, please explain to them in section 8 that you are currently financially independent and not reliant upon your parents for support. We thank you very much for your help. Please contact us if this is a problem for you. Rabbi Gideon Sylvester Here is a link for the official Application Form. Should you wish to apply, please complete the form and return it Torat Yosef-Yeshivat Hamivtar as soon as possible, together with the necessary documentation. Incomplete scholarship application forms and forms not accompanied by the required official documentation will not be processed. Please mail completed application to: Torat Yosef - Yeshivat Hamivtar Or Fax 02-9934241, E-mail it to office@yhty.org
